White marble and gilt bronze clock from the Louis XVI period. Symbolizing the study, decorated with two figures surrounding a milestone on which is inscribed the dial signed Denoyelle in Paris. Dial also signed by Muret (enameller). Shows hours, minutes, days and phases of the moon. Rich ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes decorated with lyres, palmettes, falls and rooster. It stands on topped legs. Minor accidents. H. 58 W. 63 D. 17 cm Ferdinand Philippe Denoyelle recu maître in 1788, based in rue du Coq-Saint-Honoré.
