Gad's Hill [Higham, Kent] 20th December 1861 8 x 18 cm, autogr. filled out and signed in blue ink, dry stamp and cancellation stamp, laid down on canvas-covered cardboard (foxing, sm. pinhole, sm. rest of tape on verso). In mod. gilded wooden frame and glass (studied outside frame). Dickens has altered the printed "London" to "Gad's Hill", his country house. Prov. [Coll. Yves Duval].
