Illus. of 16 woodcuts, 13 of which folded and 8 printed recto verso, by Nicolas Caron, P. Villeroy, Vincent Pezan, representing different kinds of game (roe deer, stag, wild boar, wolf, otter) and their respective prints. With 14 fully engraved musical pages of "Tons de chasse et fanfares". The first part (here bound at the end), "Bibliothèque historique et critique des auteurs qui ont traité de la chasse", was composed by the Lallemant brothers, the book's editors.
