Vincent AURIOL Set of 54 menus for the Présidence de la République during Vincent AURIOL's term of office between 1950 and 1953, including several meals with international leaders (King of AFGHANISTAN, Prince of MONACO, Prime Minister of CANADA, Queen of DENMARK, Princess of NORWAY, King of CAMBODIA, Queen of the NETHERLANDS, King of LAOS...), 2 menus for the President, 5 hunting menus at Rambouillet, etc. Unless otherwise indicated, these are illustrated cartons (indicated below as "C") or place cards ("M-P"), folding in-12 cartons, cover illustrated with gilded ears of wheat and rooster with guest's name, printed or typewritten menu on a laminated sheet with vignette depicting the Ile de la Cité after Berthold MAHN.
