TSAR NICOLAS II TSAR NICOLAS II- Set of 3 menus relating to the visit of Tsar Nicolas II to France from September 18 to 21, 1901. - Menu for the luncheon offered by the President of the Republic to the Tsar and Empress on the day of their arrival in Dunkirk on September 18, 1901, 4 pp. bound by two cords in the colors of France and Russia, in white percaline cover embellished with gold and bearing the arms of the Russian Empire with the monogram of Émile Loubet, inside illustration designed and engraved by Devambez and embellished with stencils, small cuts at the cover fold, RARE. - Menu du repas servi au Tsar Nicolas II, le 18 septembre 1901 au château de Compiègne [where he was staying with his retinue], 4 pp. beautiful stencilled cover by Eugène Morand with gilded Russian arms in relief, monogram of Émile Loubet inside, handwritten ex-dono from the Emperor's hairdresser, small marginal stains. - Menu for the September 21, 1901 luncheon at Bétheny (near Reims) offered to the Czar on the occasion of major military maneuvers and an impressive troop review (some 130,000 men involved), meal for 400 to 500 guests served under tent, 4 pp. in cover illustrated by Guillonnet and engraved by Stern.

Reinberg (1871-?) in 1907. - Then kept by the recipient's descendants. History : This watch was presented by Tsar Nicholas II to Christian A. Reinberg in 1907, in recognition of the service rendered in August 1903: at the time, Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Fedorovna were stopping over on their yacht at the Alexander III harbor in the fortress of Liépava, in present-day Latvia. Christian Reinberg was in charge of the port's telecommunications at the time, and ensured the yacht's constant communication with land throughout the imperial couple's stay.
