Sadi CARNOT Set of 4 place card menus from the Presidency of the Republic under the mandate of Sadi CARNOT, in the name of Charles DUPUY [who was deputy, minister and President of the Council], folded cartons (10 x 18 cm unfolded) with Carnot's initial and the name of the guest handwritten on the front and the printed menu on the back: dinners of June 16, 1892, January 1, 1893, April 22, 1893 and September 23, 1893 (Ch. Dupuy, President of the Council). 2 menus are cut at the fold and reattached with a discreet strip of adhesive paper. Added is the menu for the banquet given by the French Republic on July 14, 1888 at the Champ de Mars in the name of "Dupuy Charles, député de la Haute-Loire", 4 pp. bound by a cord in parchment cover, boards detached.
