Maceta de cerámica Samson estilo Iznik, siglo XIX
Beautiful circular plant pot with everted mouth, flared feet and rounded body that narrows towards the base. It is profusely decorated under glaze in cobalt blue, green and red representing on the body (both outside and inside) a continuous scene of tulips and carnations growing from long thin branches and accompanied by stylized leaves. The narrow foot and the mouth are decorated with a strip of blue background on which stand out a stylized foliate pattern. Emile Samson's company was founded in 1845, in Paris, and was dedicated to the production of ceramics inspired by many references such as Islamic ceramics, Italian or Iznik.siglo XIX.
