Richly ornamented with chased and gilded bronzes such as ram's head falls, ribboned strips and acanthus leaves on the uprights, double scrolls on the feet, and openwork applique motifs symbolizing astronomy on the sides, The drawer frames are adorned with a cartouche at the corners, the drop handles are held by leafy rosettes, the key escutcheons are decorated with dolphins, shells and an Indian mask, and the apron with a cul-de-lampe features a female mask.
