Description
[Architecture] VITRUVE Vitruvius' ten books of architecture (...) Paris, J. Bapt Coignard, 1673, 1 vol in folio of (16)-325-(16)pp abundantly illustrated in the text accompanied by a frontispiece and 65 plates hors-texte. Bound in late 19th/early 20th century half fawn calf with corners, spine ribbed and decorated, red head. The top of the binding has suffered an old attack of moisture (presence of a halo); the body of the book is in satisfactory condition (note a worm gallery in the upper margins on a few leaves without affecting the text). A good copy deserving another binding.
