ELGIN American pocket watch - Tippet - Movement no. 26388176. Case number 969483. Front opening flap with dial axis shift on left side. 43 mm case diameter. Gilt dial with black Arabic numerals. Small seconds at 6 o'clock. Total gross weight 58 g approx. Timepiece in excellent state of preservation, with front opening flap to be verified. At the time of cataloging the watch appears to be in working order but the movement has not been tested for time accuracy.
