Augustin Carracci (After) Portrait of Titian, c. 1870 Heliogravure on Vergé paper, after Augustin Carrache's etching of 1587 (referenced in Bartsch #154). Stamped in red ink by Charles Amand-Durand on the back. Dimensions: + Sheet size: 34 x 24 cm / 13.3 x 9.4 in. + Image size: 32 x 23 cm / 12.5 x 9 in. Condition : In good condition, with a few handling creases and minor stains in the margins. A few minor tears at the edges, with no impact on the print, and a few pieces of tape at the back, NOT visible from the front. Otherwise well inked, with very detailed lines. Engraving by Charles Amand-Durand. The original engraving is referenced in Bartsch #154. A fine impression after Augustin Carrache!
