Gabriel VIARDOT (1830-1906) Moulded and carved natural wood boudoir table with inverted scroll top decorated with bamboo branches, clouds and a magnifying glass depicting a pagoda. Elegant ormolu ornamentation featuring a coiling dragon. The belt is carved with sinister geometric motifs and rests on four claw feet. Stamped "G.Viardot" on the front right foot.
