Front and case back centered with enamel-painted miniatures of Cupid picking roses and a spaniel on the prowl, on guilloché backgrounds. 750 thousandths gold inner case. Mechanical movement, key winding, cylinder escapement. It is held by a 750 thousandths gold clasp, chased with foliate scrolls. Swiss work for the French market, mid-19th century, for the watch.
