Large Norman Saint-Esprit pendant in cast 750 thousandths gold and rhinestones. The ribbon-shaped hoop is knotted, and the dove's beak, turned to the left, holds a vine bulb enhanced with colored stones. French work, probably from Normandy, from the first half of the 19th century. French work, probably from Normandy, from the first half of the XIX° century (minor damage, some stones damaged, minor wear) Gross weight: 34.50 g. Dim: 10.9 x 5.4 cm. Bibliography: similar pendants are shown in the book ''Les bijoux des français'' Tome 1 Bijoux régionaux, by Michael C.W. Fieggen, pages 156-157. ''Although associated with Normandy, these Norman-type Saint-Esprit pendants were also made by jewelers in other regions, certainly for the souvenir market...''
