Two-part bookcase in carved and gilded wood, opening to four grilled doors. Slightly recessed upper body with gendarme-cap cornice. Richly decorated: on the front, interlaced ribbons and olive branches, braids, interlaced braids, heart-shaped raisins, gadroons, acanthus leaves at the corners gilded on silver leaf; on the sides, panels with diamond-shaped backgrounds centered on a large leafy rosette, framed by braids adorned with five-petal flowers, acanthus leaves at the corners; feet in the form of a gadrooned baluster. Lighter door mounts, engraved and gilded lock plates decorated with foliate scrolls, wrought-iron latches. Almond green lacquered interior.
