The author was a preacher in Schweidnitz and was expelled by the Jesuits for his writings. He was superintendent and court preacher in Stolberg until his death in 1719. - Inside cover with pencil marginalia, browned due to paper, occasional spotting, one leaf with small backed loss, otherwise generally good.
