Typescript on the production of water energy on La Réunion. Etienne Coste was a civil engineer and director of the Chemin de fer et Port de la Réunion (C.P.R.) from 1920 to 1925. In this memorandum, based on a thorough study of the waterways and rainfall, he proposed the construction of hydroelectric power stations on the island's main rivers (particularly the Rivière des Roches and the Rivière Saint-Etienne) and the electrification of the railroad and the port of La Réunion. The illustration consists of 6 mostly folded diagrams and 6 mounted photographs.
