Brass "Boulle" marquetry cartel and bracket decorated with Berain motifs on a brown scale background and six-color horn marquetry. Decorated with gilded and chased bronzes featuring putti, Chronos and rocaille motifs. Set on four curved feet decorated with foliage. Dial and movement signed by du Ponchel in Paris. Guillaume DUPONCHEL, received the title of Master Watchmaker in Paris in 1740, died in 1745, his widow working until 1748.
