Hergé Tintin

Hergé/Cauwenberghs/Tintin. Important sculpture representing life-size Tintin, tied to a post inspired by the cover of the album "Tintin en amérique" (Tintin in America). This work was created under the supervision of Bob De Moor and Michel Leloux around 1979 for the decoration of an attraction at the Walibi park in Wavre, Belgium. Very fine condition, with original patina and wear. A superb, unique and highly decorative collector's item. Fiberglass and painted resin. H 200 X 40 X 40 cm This work is part of the "Hergé et Walibi" exhibition taking place from March 9 to 10 at the réunion des amis d'Hergé in Nivelle, Belgium.
