After completing his studies, Damien Vanderstraeten (1974) turned to advertising in the Lille region. After two and a half years of loyal service, Damien moved into video games at Œil pour Œil, thanks to Éric Hérenguel. He spent two and a half years there too, improving his drawing skills and "rediscovering" comics. Then he met Damien Marie, and together they worked on an animation project that would eventually become Règlement de Contes (4 volumes in all). Damien then worked as an illustrator at Œil pour Œil and in comics for just over a year, before deciding last October to devote himself full-time to comics... And joined Éric and Damien Marie at La Fabrik (since disbanded).
