On a chevron background, in the center, an Indian sovereign on a throne receives a European embassy. On the sides, two scenes from Cervantes' famous novel Don Quixote, based on illustrations by Charles Coypel (1694-1752). Reverse: a Chinese servant at the foot of an elegant woman under her parasol in an architectural garden. Wooden mounting without decoration. H.t. 43 cm-H.f. 20.7 cm (wear, cuts, restorations, missing parts)
