An ancient Eastern Mediterranean core-formed glass alabastron presenting a remarkable and historically significant artifact. Alabastrons were small vessels used in antiquity to hold perfumes, oils, or other precious substances. Core-formed glass was a technique used to create intricate glass vessels in ancient times. This particular alabastron boasts a beautiful and intricate design. It features decorative patterns and colors that reflect the artistry and craftsmanship of the era in which it was made.
