A4 format Daniel Desorgher (1948) spent the first 12 years of his life in the Congo. This experience was to have a decisive influence on his career as a cartoonist. A master of the art of the clear line, Desorgher launched his own series in the mid '80s: "Les aventures de Jimmy Tousseul", based on a script by Stephen Desberg (and published in the journal Spirou, then in albums by Dupuis). At the same time, he initiated the Festival international de la BD de Seraing, after having organized the Fête des amoureux de la BD in Boncelles.
