Set of pistols signed LEPAGE. Box containing a pair of fighting pistols, originally flintlock, converted to percussion around 1830. The six-sided damascus barrels are decorated with thunderbolts and gold tips. Caliber approx. 13 mm. Hairline scratches. Inscribed Lepage à Paris on the base of the barrel. Round-bodied lock signed Lepage à Paris. Finely engraved steel trim decorated with urns and aquatic birds. Walnut frame, checkered stock, whalebone ramrod, horn tip (woodborers). Total length: 39 cm / barrel length: 24 cm. Walnut case covered with green cloth: bullet mold, powder flask, hammer, rod and pod, one rod missing. All metal parts are case-hardened, mechanisms functional. Very good condition. 1st quarter of the 19th century.
