Set includes: - Rifleman's helmet. Brass bomb stamped "DELACHAUSSEE", stamped and dated "1856". Radiused bosses with brass star motif and brass grenade headband, in iron. Brass 8-ring chinstraps, lined with later leather. White metal band. Vintage red horsehair caterpillar, reassembled. Later brown leather inner cap. A.B.E. - Rifleman's breastplate. Brass-trimmed iron with brass rivets. Radiant iron motif with brass Eagle motif (one clip missing). Shoulder straps with gourmette rings and brass clasps, lined with leather (one tie missing). One hook missing. Pitting, belt leather refinished. Presented with a pair of later scarlet shoulder pads.
