Lidded tankard, silver, probably Augsburg, end of 17th c., probably master Marx II Schaller (around 1651 - 1700), cylindrical body on a stand ring with smooth curved handle, wall with surrounding decoration of chased mascarons, fruits and scrollwork, chased in between, domed hinged lid with ball knob, divided thumb rest, inside completely and outside partly gilded (heavily rubbed), on the bottom and lid hallmarked master's mark as well as pine nut and tremulier mark, h.ca. 20,5 cm, weight: ca. 914 g, signs of age and wear.
