Five Prehistoric jasper hand axes, flint tools, Middle Paleolithicum 40.000 - 60.000, 6 cm to 9 cm, Five rare Mousterian biface hand-axes from Fontmaure, France. Four Biface hand axes and one very rare piercer.  The Bifaces, meaning "double face" have been dated 40.000-60.000 years and are fashioned by the Neanderthal people. Fontmaure is a famous prehistoric site with a rich deposit of high quality Jasper in all colors. Found in the 70s and 80s by the current owner.
