Description
Two patinated walnut "fauteuils à la reine en pendant", carved with foliage, pomegranates and flowers, with medallion-shaped backs and hunchbacked crosspieces at the top. They have curved, ribbed armrests on leafy consoles, trapezoidal seats, curved belts carved with flowers and shells, and rest on four curved legs. Early 18th century, probably Parisian work.
