Rare porcelain covered vase
Of "lantern" form, mounted on a small foot, with ovoid body, high marked shoulder, and short neck with domed lid, presenting an elegant gold decoration on a monochrome coral-colored background of scrolls of blooming lotus flowers, pendants and bats on the body, a frieze of Greek and stylized banana leaves on the foot, a frieze of ruyi on the shoulder, a decoration of lotus flowers and sound stones on the lid, with lotiform grip button. The base turquoise glazed, with a six-character Daoguang mark in iron red.
