Measurements: 50 x 100 cm. José Ignacio Lucia Orrite was born in Madrid in 1981. Painting and football were his great passions since his childhood. He was soon awarded prizes in some international children's competitions, which emphasised his dedication and interest in painting. This did not prevent him from studying Technical Engineering in Computer Science. Later, however, he studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid. In the last year of his studies he was selected for the Ayllón Scholarship, where he was awarded first prize in painting. Once he finished his Fine Arts studies, he participated in several international art fairs, while continuing his training. During this period he visited Sweden and other Nordic countries on a regular basis. This was a turning point in his work.
