CHINE, Marque et Epoque Jiaqing (1797-1820)
Pair of porcelain vases
of bottle form, mounted on small feet, the globular bodies and long thin necks slightly flared at the opening, presenting a decoration in polychrome enamels of the pink family of lotus scrolls, bats, sound stones and sapele on an apple green background, friezes of grecques at the feet and shoulders, a frieze of ruyi bordering the necks, the latter flanked by handles in the form of stylized kui dragons in iron red and gold. The base and interior with turquoise glaze, a six-character Jiaqing mark in iron red under the bases.
