Statuette of Bhairava in gilded repoussé copper, in his six-armed form, the original hands holding the skull kapala, the other hands holding the shield khetaka and the sword khadga, adorned with a ritual apron and a garland of severed heads, the mouth revealing fangs and the hair standing up in curls with traces of vermilion pigments.

Bhairava is one of the multiple forms of the god Shiva, particularly celebrated in Nepal in the Kathmandu valley, notably during the Indrajatra festival.
