The shimmering light, which he depicts with vividly colored shadows alongside flat white brushstrokes, harmonize with his depictions of the mountains in a vivid shade of blue, in which both aerial perspective and the sun's rays are palpable. Despite the multitude of colors and vivid composition, the paintings appear airy and expansive. The painting was exhibited at La Boetie Gallery in New York.
