Engraved polychrome lacquer on a tortoiseshell background; the flowers enhanced with gold. The brown lacquer frame has been torn off. Monogrammed G. S. in red lacquer lower left. Panel alone: 56 x 30.5 cm With frame : 67 x 41 cm Provenance : - M. & Mme X. Collection; acquired directly from the artist. - This work is still in the family of its predecessors.
