EDGAR BRANDT (1880-1960) Les Bouquets, a tiny variant of the model presented at the Exposition Internationale, Paris, 1925 and at the XVIth Salon des Artistes Décorateurs, Paris, 1926. Exceptional pair of interior grilles in patinated wrought-iron, partly gilded. Each casement features a part simulating a dormer and fringed frames. The palmettes motifs come in several sizes and adorn large scrolls with fringed profiles at the top of the sides. Stylized gilded bouquets form the central decorations. Each central part is topped with a row of faceted gilded spheres. Complete with hinged frames. Circa 1925. Missing a small palmette at the bottom of one of the grilles, oxidation.
