The mount, featuring three wading birds in the round, suspenders evocative of trimmings and a large triangular cover simulating a drape, is made of silvered bronze. The tulips, large central bowl, spacer ball and hanger rings are in alabaster. Early edition, circa 1925. Used condition, restorations, stripping of alabaster parts, a small accident to a spout.
