JOSEF HOFFMANN (1870-1956) 4 x 6 boules, ref. 1263 from the Jacob & Josef Kohn catalog, the model designed around [1908]. Square side table in beech and mahogany-lacquered beech veneer. The shaft consists of four square-section uprights; the uprights are spaced and receive, two by two, 6 spacer spheres. The base is trimmed in brass with a hammered surface. The top, slightly recessed and with a wide belt, is covered with fabric (replaced) and holds a glass top. Early edition, circa 1910. Used condition, scattered wear and scratches of mahogany lacquer, non-original top fabric. Antique label KOHN Jakob & Josef - Budapest under the top.
