ALEXANDRE EDUARD TILLANDER 14K (585) gold lapel pin depicting a pink and green enameled quiver, adorned with an oval diamond, the wings of the arrows set with rose-cut diamonds. Unsigned, hallmark of master. Russian work of the late nineteenth century, years 1895-1899. Height of the motif : 3,2 cm approximately. Gross weight : 5,6 g An Alexander Tillander diamond pin Alexander Eduard Tillander (1837-1918) was a famous goldsmith and jeweler in Saint Petersburg. He was first an assistant to Beck and Schubert from 1848 and obtained his title of master jeweler in 1860. He then opened his own store and workshop with no less than 30 workers. He was one of the suppliers of the Imperial Court between 1909 and 1911 until his departure for Helsinki in 1918.
