Humiliation of Our Lord with the placement of the crown of thorns and the green cane, with a cross at the side, mannerist, oil on canvas, Portuguese school, 17th C. (1st half), some restoration, some faults and defects, it may have been produced from a Flemish engraving, possibly by Peter Van der Borcht (c. 1530–1608). It was to be part of a series of paintings depicting several steps of the Passion of Christ, eventually of a Santa Casa da Misericórdia (Holy House of Mercy).
