Moulded crystal goblet of right form, engraved in the center of the coat of arms of alliance Arlatan-Lauris/Galliffet under ducal crown and of baron, and on the higher edge of a frieze of flowers. Good condition. In its original brown calfskin case, inside crimson silk velvet with its label marked " THIAUCOURT, Engraver in crystals amp; Fine stones, He lives in the Garden of the Royal Palace, the Gallery on the right, entering by the street Saint Honore, No. 169, next to the Café de Valois, in Paris ". By Thiaucourt, Paris, Empire period (before 1811). H. 9 x D. 8 cm. Provenance: Jean-Louis Martin d'Arlatan-Lauris (1737-1811) and his wife Marie-Madeleine de Galliffet (1741-?), married November 28, 1763, probably for their hotel in Arlatan (Aix-en-Provence).
