Noah's Ark, Europe, circa 1760 Rare folded fan, the painted skin sheet of the biblical scene where couples of animals embark to escape the flood under the leadership of Noah. Reverse: a couple travels in a cabriolet guided by a love. A phylactery above them indicates "A gallant cabriolet /of Love /A little bit of madness /This is the triolet of life's pleasures". White mother-of-pearl frame pierced, engraved and gilded and heightened in colors. H.t. 26,5 cm-H.f. 12,2 cm (wear, restorations, does not fold)
