180. Henry DASSON Small circular pedestal table in mahogany veneer and burr amboyna. The The uprights in chased and gilded bronze in the imitation of bamboo are joined by a triangular triangular shelf resting on three small cambered feet ending in a skate. The top is made of Spanish brocatel marble with a gallery. Stamped HENRY DASSON. Louis XVI style, late 19th century, after a model by Adam Weisweiler. D : 75 cm - D : 37 cm. The original model, attributed to Adam Weisweiler, was supplied by the Mercier merchants Dominique Daguerre and Martin-Eloi Lignereux. According to Alexandre Pradère, Daguerre sold a pedestal table of this Daguerre sold a pedestal table of this type to Madame du Barry in 1777, and then offered it to the Duc de Brissac in 1791.
