4.1 Attributed to François de TROY (Toulouse 1645-Paris 1730) Portrait of Renée Bouthillier de Chavigny posing with her dog, mother of Anne-Marie Beuzelin de Bosmelet (1668-1752) Oil on its original canvas. Annotated in black ink on the back of the canvas and the frame frame "P.P Château Bosmelet" with a n°6. Beautiful carved and gilded wooden frame decorated with and stylized foliage, acanthus leaves and acanthus leaves and flowers. Louis XIV period. 130,5 x 98 cm. (Restorations). Provenance : Castle of Bosmelet Located in Auffay in the Seine-Maritime region, this beautiful of the Louis XIII period belonged to Renée Le Bouthillier de Chavigny, daughter of a secretary of state of of Louis XIII, of which a portrait of his daughter, Anne-Marie Beuzelin de Bosmelet (1668-1752) by François de Troy is kept in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouen (inv. 1803.28).
