Description
Cabinet of table in marquetry of clear and tinted wood with varied species. It presents in front a series of drawers framing a central door decorated with an inlaid decoration of a knight represented under a draped colonnade offering a perspective on the entrance of a city; the opening of the door reveals a niche framed by a series of drawers with inlaid decoration of geometrical motifs. The marquetry decoration on the drawers of the front of the piece is a perspective of architecture on a landscape of foliage and flowers. The sides of the piece of furniture take up the same iconographic repertoire of architectures and perspective. The top houses a tray decorated with inlaid geometric motifs and opens like a chest.
