Cast by Siot Decauville with lost wax, this model was originally created by the artist in 1905 for the Square Jules-Coutant in Ivry-sur-Seine where it still stands. Probably published in 4 copies, one of which was sold by Wemaëre-De Beaupuis in Chambord in 1993, it bears the full name of "Chiens courants ou Quatre chiens de chasse de la marquise d'Uzés" (Véronique Belle).
