June 22, 1773. Patent of Austrian nobility in very good condition and embellished with a large illuminated coat of arms in its original garb with the original sealing-wax stamp. Folio, (360 x 300mm). 10 vellum wrappers, the last two blank, elegant cursive handwriting, intaglio frames to first two wrappers, large heraldic coat of arms within animated frame illuminated in gold and color to recto of sixth wrapper, signatures of Empress, Chancellor Heinrich Kajetan von Blümegen (1715-1788) and recorder Mariophilus Leisner. Coeval velvet binding with yellow silk fastenings, large wax stamp to the arms of the Habsburgs contained within a carved wooden case, marbled paper endpapers. MARIA TERESA OF AUSTRIA (1717-1780).
