Pair of quadrangular porcelain vases in famille rose enamels decorated with heroes of Wu Shuang Pu, representing the figures of Wu Zetian, empress of China at the turn of the 8th century, Sun Ce, general of the Three Kingdoms period, Qian Liu, sovereign of the kingdom of Wuyue and finally Liang Gong, general of the Tang dynasty. Mounted in a lamp. H. 42 cm PROVENANCE French private collection, then by descent.
