CHINE DYNASTIE QING, XIXe SIÈCLE
Small covered incense burner made of bronze with brown patina and hard stone inlays, resting on three feet in the shape of a harnessed elephant head, the body decorated with lotus scrolls and flanked by two handles in the shape of an elephant trunk.
The lid is openwork with a large socket showing a caparisoned elephant lying down carrying a vase on its back.
The base with an incised mark Da Ming
Nian Zhi in a square.
