Superb illustration, including 105 figures engraved by Johann Franck, Jacob Faber, or Johann Froben according to researchers, as two of them bear the monogram I.F. (pp. 4 and 188). A very fine illustration, sometimes repeated from one Gospel to the next, particularly remarkable in its treatment of the Apocalypse of John.
