Parchment from 1421. 43 by 60 cm. The beginning of the text is missing. With two summaries written in ink on the verso of the parchment, and a transcription on paper, all dated 1770. Initial seal missing today. Text in Latin. Contract of sale of a dotal property belonging to Jeanne de Lalannes made by Noble Jean de Macom his Marys, with the consent of the said Noble Jeanne his wife: made on the thirty-first of December one thousand four hundred and twenty-one. An extract of the transcription was made by Lord Benoît Lavelle, Lord of Notre Dame de Méralde, Fonclaire and Saint-Pé: "Sale made by Noble Jean de Macom, last December one thousand four hundred and twenty-one to Noble Guilliaume de Lalannes, son of a certain noble Guilliaume. Noble Jean de Macom authorizes by his wife noble Jeanne de Lalannes and noble Jeanne of the consent of her wife, concentrates that the goods doteaux which she had, which had been given to her in the form of dowry by noble Guilliaume or which should be given to her by a certain noble Guilliaume, son and heir of the aforementioned noble Guilliaume, be sold, cedez, transported to the aforementioned Noble Guilliaume de Lalannes son and heir, for the price and the sum of two hundred gold écus : on condition that the said noble de Macom recognizes the value of these two hundred gold ecus, which were to serve him in the future as a dowry; to which the said noble Jean de Macon acquiesced by bequeathing to him and assigning twelve pounds of cens with the direct domain; which twelve pounds tournois and cens rentes with all the direct domain are of the mouvence and meuvent in foy and homage of the Seignieur de Poyet bishop or inhabitant of the diocese of Clermont.
